Brake shoes have to be made according to the requirements of the present standard and normative documents approved in accordance with the established procedure. Accuracy of casting 10-7-0-10 - in accordance with GOST 26645 . Forming biases - in accordance with GOST 3212 .
Blocks make of cast iron of brands which chemical composition has to meet the standards specified in tab. 1.

The framework (back) and bracket of a block have to be made of strips in accordance with GOST 103 and tapes the CHURCHYARD 503 or sheets in accordance with GOST 19903 and GOST of 14637 following brands became: St0, St1, St2, St3, Bst3 in accordance with GOST 380 and 05kp, 08kp in accordance with GOST 1050 .
The manufacturer guarantees compliance of brake shoes to requirements of the present standard at observance of service conditions, storages and transportations.
At detection of the latent defects reducing service life and safety requirements of the movement on condition of observance of rules of transportation and unloading, brake shoes reject and show to manufacturer in the terms established by rules of deliveries.
At identification of violations of the production technology of the blocks during operation causing serious material damage to railway transport, the manufacturer bears responsibility according to the current legislation, and also is obliged to carry out extraordinary qualification tests of blocks.
